How does Polyurethane foam lifting work?

1

Step 1) injection holes are strategically drilled around the areas where the concrete is sunken and requires lifting.

2

Step 2) Once everything is prepped, and the hose and material are in place, the polyurethane foam is injected through the holes. It expands to fill the space underneath the concrete slab, using the slab itself to drive the foam into the crevices, thereby lifting the concrete back to its original position.

3

Step 3) Once the concrete is stabilized and lifted to the proper position, the injection holes are filled with new cement, allowing you to use your surface immediately.

Polyurethane concrete raising uses a foam material that is injected under the slab. When the components of the material are mixed, a reaction causes the material to expand. This expanded foam fill any voids beneath the slab and raises the concrete. This material will never lose density, is permanent and weighs only about 2 pounds per cubic foot.

Why Choose Polyurethane Foam Lifting Over Concrete Replacement?

Repairing concrete with polyurethane foam is significantly less expensive than replacement.

Concrete Replacements vs Concrete Raising

Unlike concrete replacement, which can take days to complete, foam lifting is finished in hours, with no downtime required for curing.

The process reuses existing concrete slabs, reducing waste and conserving resources.

Our foam is safe for your home, your family, and the environment. The polyurethane foam we use is made by our sister company, HMI, and contains over 40% recycled and renewable materials.Eco Friendly Concrete Lifting Foam It’s a USDA Certified Biobased Product, meaning it meets strict standards for sustainability and environmental responsibility.

HMI foam is formulated using eco-friendly, non-toxic components that won’t leach into soil or groundwater. It’s cleanlonglasting, and designed to perform without adding weight to already weak soil. By lifting instead of replacing, you also keep unnecessary concrete waste out of landfills — which helps reduce your environmental impact.

We’re proud to offer a solution that’s fast, effective, and better for the planet — without compromising on quality or results.

Polyurethane foam creates a solid foundation beneath the concrete, ensuring stability for years to come.

The small injection holes mean less surface damage, and the process is virtually mess-free.

Solid slabs of concrete can be raise and stabilized. Gravel areas or blacktop are unable to be repaired, and need to be replaced or re-installed to remedy settling issues. Slabs of concrete that are badly cracked may also be too damaged to lift.
